The Center for Wooden Boats partners with local schools and the Youth Maritime Collaborative to introduce young people to maritime careers through an ongoing 别错过今年大发体育注册平台大(2023趋势新闻). This program strives to provide youth ages 16 - 24, especially from communities traditionally underrepresented in maritime, with the opportunity to work with a professional boatwright to learn carpentry basics as it relates to boatbuilding.

Our school year program allows a small group of students to work on a boatbuilding project 1 day a week thoughout the school year, while the summer session is a 1-month, 5-days-a-week summer internship administered through the Seattle Public Schools’ LAUNCH206 and Seattle Goodwill programs.
