CWB is able to offer Youth Program Scholarships through our 官方指定2023大发体育注册网址v.8.13.4(2023全新爆料) (YMI). YMI funding gives CWB the ability to award discounts and scholarships to our youth programs, making hands-on maritime experiences available to youth who may not otherwise have access.
YMI scholarships are available to families facing financial barriers, youth service organizations, schools, and underserved youth.
YMI Summer Camp Scholarships
We believe all kids should have access to fun and educational opportunities during the summer! The Center for Wooden Boats summer camps support youth as they develop the skills, abilities and attitudes necessary to enjoy sailing, working together, and having fun on the water. Programs target age-appropriate skill sets and are designed to build on each other so youth can come back summer after summer to play, learn and grow.
If you need assistance covering the cost of one of our camps, apply for a summer camp scholarship here!
YMI Seasonal Sailing Programs
This program is designed for underrepresented youth between the ages of 9 through 13 years of age. CWB defines “underserved youth” as elementary through high school kids who have been historically underrepresented in the sailing community, i.e. ethnic and racial minorities, LGBTQ+, mobility challenged, low income, homeless, in foster care, and/or youth who are off-track educationally.
