The longest-running CWB program
Every Third Friday for over 40 years, we invite a speaker from the local maritime community to tell their story. It has always been a free program.
February 2023 speaker: Chris Chase
Western Flyer History and Restoration Project
Chris will begin by discussing the famous fishing vessel's history, from her build in Tacoma, WA in 1937 to her voyage in the Sea of Cortez with John Steinbeck and beyond. He will also go into detail about the decision to fully restore the Western Flyer and the journey of rebuilding her over the last 5 years!
February 17th @ 6PM in the Sail Loft
